But others were much more exciting. Like this new face you make that is next to impossible to capture on camera. This is the best we can get:
You also took your first (assisted) steps. You did this like it was something you had been doing for months! And while you don't seek out the walking option, you have no problems doing it when assistance is available!
Along with your walking, your crawling has reached a new level. Your bumps and bruises have receded some, but you seem to have a permanent dent in your forehead from the one spot you hit over and over again for a couple of weeks!
You had your first Halloween this month and went as a Pumpkin! Of course, you were stinkin' cute!
And, you continue to show us more of your personality and talking skills. You certainly are a social butterfly! And already you are showing us how obedient you are! All it takes is saying your name when you are about to get into something you shouldn't and you redirect yourself. Your Dad and I truly don't know what to do with this. It is brand new for us, and we plan on enjoying this compliance for as long as it lasts!!
Time is flying, sweet Emily Mae! Here are your nine month pictures, what few I could get that weren't blurry from your constant movement!
We love you, Emily Mae! We are excited to see what your next month holds for you!

Yay ! Emily ! Yes, she shocked me when she stood up the other night- didn't know she was doing that already. I finally got some 'cuddling' with her on Sunday night since it was a late night in nursery. She is super sweet with her 'lovey' and sucking her thumb. You are blessed to have her.
